This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else, so there is no banner to dismiss and nothing following you between pages. Every page is a static file, which means the server has no reason to know who you are and does not try to find out.

The host keeps ordinary web server logs, the kind every site has: an address, a page, a timestamp, a browser string. They exist so the site can be kept running and are not joined to anything else or used to build a profile of anyone.

If you email me, I keep the email, because that is what email is. If you send a text to the number on the contact page, the message and my reply are stored so I can read the thread later, and nothing is passed to anyone else or used for marketing. Ask me to delete either and I will.

The archive on this site is my own writing, republished from LinkedIn where it was already public. It does not include the names of people who commented or reacted, which are theirs rather than mine to publish.
