Now
I am running The Mobile-First Company from Miami, with the team split across here, Paris and Buenos Aires, which means my day starts early and my evenings belong to whoever is still awake in Europe.
Most of my attention goes to Allo, the business phone platform we sell to small businesses in the United States and France. We are past twenty thousand of them and more than a million calls a month, and the interesting problem now is less about answering calls well and more about what the software should do once the call is over.
I still take investor calls for Kara Ventures, mostly in African markets, and I still call five customers a week myself because the moment I stop I start hearing about my own company secondhand.
This site is new and I am filling it in as I go, which is why some of it is thinner than the rest.
